We're Back

We are officially back from vacation and we still haven't completely unpacked. That is on our agenda for today. We did have a great vacation though. First we went to Orlando and spent the day at Disney World. After going to Disney we woke up early on Sunday morning and drove to Miami to get on our ship the Carnival Triumph.

Our first stop was in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Here we went to an all inclusive beach and laid in the sun.

Our next stop was at Georgetown, Grand Cayman. Here we did one of the most exciting and fun things I have ever done. We went to what's known as Sting Ray City. There is a sandbar about 3 miles off shore where the water is only about 3 feet deep. At this sand bar are hundreds of sting rays that are used to human contact. You just hop in the water and walk around while these huge sting rays nudge up to you and let you pet them. It was really amazing.

Our final stop was Cozumel, Mexico. Here we went to Paradise beach. Once again we just relaxed on the beach. This beach had inflatable trampolines and a water iceberg that you could climb.

Leslie did great with the thingy. She still has had no morning sickness, but she has been having some headaches. I can't tell if the headaches are due to everyday life with me or because of the pregnancy. What I do know is that I will be hurt before this baby is born. Leslie sent me a text message the other day telling me that I would be dead or severely injured before my child was born. So if something happens to me... it was Leslie.

We are still here...

I just wanted to let everybody know that we are still around. We were on vacation last week and we have been busy trying to unpack the last few days. I will blog and post pictures about our trip this weekend. Leslie and the thingy are both fine and did great on the trip. More to come on Saturday.

Living the Pregnant Life

We are in full preggo living mode. Even though we still have 8 months to go we are already doing what we can to prepare. Earlier today Leslie and I spent a leisurely day shopping at Home Depot for a new washer and dryer. The washer and dryer we have now was given to us and I think is as old as I am. They still work fine, but Leslie and I are pretty certain that it won't last too much longer. We figure we have money more readily available now and may not be able to go buy one once we have the baby. Let me tell you we went and bought the BMW of washer and dryers... not really. We did buy energy star appliances though, so we are very awesome.

Leslie really hasn't had many preggo symptoms. She hasn't had any nausea, other than her standard living every day with me nausea. She has been really tired though. Most weekends she doesn't sleep late. She usually wakes up around 7, but today when I woke up she was still asleep at 8:45, and she wants to go to bed at around 9.

We have been doing some name thinking. If it's a boy I think I have finally convinced her to name him Thomas Sterling Greene Mills, Jr. I am a big fan of family traditions. If it's a girl Leslie and I like the name Kaylee. We still have a lot of time left and I'm sure we will flip flop a couple of times though.

Still waiting on that XBox...
